Condolence & Memory Journal

I am the daughter of Leota Freds Furnas. Ralph was a cousin. I remember as a kid and we had reunions he and his family being there. After grandma passed away the reunions stopped happening. It looks like he has left quite a legacy.
Sorry for your loss.

Prayers and hugs to the family, I am so sorry to hear the loss of Ralph, what a great guy he was and a great help with babysitting the kids when they were younger. Dustin and Brandon thought a lot of grandpa Ralph as they went there every day when Elsie babysat. He is an Angel in heaven now with your mom watching over all of you. I am sorry I will be out of town and wont be back to attend the service, just know my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Wonderful Wanda, my mom will be there though to see you. Hugs

My thoughts and prayers are with the family as we have lost a great man.

Ralph was my neighbor for 8 great years and when he moved in he brought a special presence to the building and always made people feel great with his words.

He would come late on Friday or Saturday night and we would ask him how he was doing and he would give that Ralph and say just fine, and sometimes even give us that " Yuppers I'm doing fine.

He got joy out of helping people by just giving kind words to them or even a simple smile to make your day better.

He was like a father figure to many of us in the building and when he say my old Harley needed a tire... in a Fatherly voice " You need to get that tire replace pretty soon.

He enjoyed when Charlie would come pick him up for breakfast and the joy on his face when he got back.

But what really made him happiest is when family would stop by and visit him and take him to the store or just a simple visit.

The day he moved it was very heart breaking cause this man had touched many hearts on the second floor, we all kept an eye on Ralph and deeply cared,

Ralph you have your wings and now are an Angel and you are the Guardian Angel that will look after your family and friends.

Thank you for being you.
