Heart Emblem

Nattaly Marie Brown, age seven (eight in our hearts and hers) passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 as a courageous, intuitive, sassy, loving, strong, and beautiful little girl. Nattaly's life was filled with inspiration, hope, bold actions, and above all else a binding love that always left you thankful she was in your life. She was quickly becoming a practical jokester who enjoyed a playful spirit. She was honest and was always happy to share her thoughts and perspectives with you whether you needed it or not, typically with one hand on her hip and a casual wave of the other. She was a big fan of Disney, Bruno Mars, giraffes, going to the movies and out to dinner, going to the lake and beach (especially to swim with her cousins) butterflies, the color purple, and dancing.

Nattaly continues to be loved by her brother Mason, parents Alyssa Schuck & Chris Pluymers & Step Parents Glenn Schuck & Amber Striker, grandparents Kim & Chris Sargent, Julie & Chuck Brown, Art Sayers & Karen Ladley, Melissa Sayers, Mark Brown, & Linda & Glenn Schuck.

A celebration of her life and all that she meant to each of us will be held at one of her favorite places, Binder Park Zoo, 7400 Division Drive, Battle Creek, Michigan, 49014, in the large outdoor pavilions on Saturday, September 30, 2017. It is open to anyone who loved Nattaly and visitation will be from 9:00 a.m-11:00 a.m., a memorial celebration will be from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., lunch onsite from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m., and an opportunity to enjoy the zoo will follow at a reduced rate (thanks Nattaly)! Please dress casual, relaxed and happy!! No suits and/or ties please!

Memorial contributions can be made in Nattaly's honor to Binder Park Zoo (, DC Strong (, Cancer Families United ( The Jenna Kast Foundation ( Crayons for Kids ( Bronson Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, Camp-Catch-A-Rainbow ( Saving Super Bella, or any organization you choose that reminds you of her and supports children as we have been fortunate to receive the support of so many.

Life will always bring hardships that you must endure, however, it is important to remember "The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things & make them unimportant." Nattaly's optimism for life was admirable, take a lesson from her and view the world in a positive light today.
